Weekly Summary
02/13/2026
For those busy subscribers that didn’t have much time to read, watch, or listen during the week, and that like to catch up on the weekend, here are some (~3-7) of the links from this week that stood out to me, in case you don’t have the time to go through all of the weekly posts.
I enjoyed Ian Cassel’s article and the case studies from his piece “From Disaster to Triumph.” It also reminded me of a post I published many years ago: “The Characteristics of Easy and Difficult Turnarounds.”
Ben Thompson sat down for a conversation with John Collison on the Cheeky Pint Podcast (Video, Podcast, Transcript).
The software space has continued to be volatile. Jonathan Boyar published some of his thoughts on the topic, as did Trevor Scott in a separate article, as did Akre Capital Management in a letter to shareholders.
Chris Pavese published his Broyhill Q4 Letter.
Edward Chancellor and Charles Carter discussed the book Capital Account on The Capital Cycle Podcast.
Dan Rasmussen and D.A. Wallach returned to the The Meb Faber Show to discuss Biotech investing, and other topics (Video, Podcast).
The Short History Of... Podcast published an episode on the Rwandan Genocide.
The Value Investing World newsletter is sponsored by Sorfis Investments. We offer fair fees and great service. Contact Us today for more information.
